The lower level has a fully equipped gym with Technogym cardio and weight training equipment as well as a professional chefs kitchen and secure garage parking for two cars.

Interior and exterior finishes include contemporary pieces by Arper, Benchmark, Minotti, OKHA, Raun, Royal Botania and Zanottu. The villa showcases an impressive selection of art by renowned South African artists Dylan Lewis, Lionel Smit and Bill Ainsley.

Maintained and preserved in the 2008 era, this SAOTA original remains true to form in retaining both interior and exterior spaces to their authentic award-winning specifications.

008 Villa is a full-service villa, offering a private chef to cater to your culinary desires. The housekeeping and grounds team will ensure that the villa is always kept looking immaculate. The manager/concierge is on call to plan the perfect itinerary for you – everything from restaurant bookings, excursions, cultural and adventure activities to charters, chauffeur drives and transfers.

The top floor, manager’s office, chefs kitchen, staff quarters and the equipment room are strictly out of bounds and not included in the rental.

IMPORTANT: Note that 008 Villa is a design property and there are hazards such as the lack of balcony balustrades and staircase railings as well as voids, drop-offs, unmarked glass, sharp edges, pools and an indoor pond. Please ensure that you are aware of these hazards which will be stipulated in the rental contract.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

▪ No functions or events without prior consent*
▪ No loud noise after 22H00 (Sunday – Thursday) and 23H00 (Friday & Saturday)
▪ A 50% deposit is required to secure a reservation
▪ Full payment is required 30 days prior to arrival
▪ A refundable breakages deposit of R50 000.00 will be held for the duration of the rental
* 20 or more people including the occupying guests is considered a function

CANCELLATION POLICY
▪ No shows and early departures forfeit 100% of the accommodation total
▪ Cancellations 0-30 days prior to arrival forfeit 100% of the accommodation total
▪ Cancellations 30-60 days prior to arrival forfeit 50% of the accommodation total
▪ Cancellations in excess of 60 days may incur a maximum of 5% of the accommodation total
▪ Cancellations are to be made in writing

INSURANCE
We encourage clients to take out comprehensive insurance covering the loss of personal effects, personal injury, medical emergencies as well as expenses relating to emergency travel arrangements, cancellations, and / or curtailment of travel plans. Such insurance must cover all force majeure events and other events beyond the villa’s control.
